There are many sorts of art and artefact collections and each has its place.

Over coming months we will be expanding this section to include British coin collecting, toy collecting and much more.

We are not suggesting that people go out and spend a fortune on their collections but rather that they create a collection that has its value in the beauty or in the knowledge it offers.

We belive that most collections are intensely personal and reflect the collector in many ways. A fine collection is a great opportunity to show individuality.

The most important thing is that a collection gives genuine pleasure to the collector and offers a glimpse of a bygone time.
