Premium Listing Guidelines
When making an application
for a Premium listing please
make sure your organisation
name is at the top of your application
(and where possible please add
the reference number from your
www.history.uk.com
standard listing)
We need you to send us:
- Your organisation name
- A contact name
- Address
- Town
- County
- Postcode
- Telephone Number
- Email address
- Website address (URL)
- Suitable web page text
– up to 1000 words
- Suitable digital image
(ideally a 72dpi jpg –
235 pixels wide - the height
doesn’t matter too much)
- A list of six ‘key
words’ that will help
people to find your listing
Make the most of your premium
listing by following these suggestions:
- Start your listing with
a history of your organisation
or the area in which you are
based.
- Give accurate details of
your historic collections,
archives and/or artefacts.3.
- Explain your services clearly.
(transcription, photocopying,
restoration, lectures etc).
- If you are an historic
venue or research centre/archive/museum/library
then give clear directions
so that visitors can find
you easily.
- Include a high resolution
jpg image that is representative
of your organisation. This
could be a logo, photograph,
coat of arms or other appropriate
image.
